Why did they change the throttle on the F-16?
Same thing that’s been in aircraft for decades. The F-16’s stick originally didn’t even MOVE, it was just a sensor that detected input force; the test pilots couldn’t get used to it, so they changed it and now it budges just a little, but that’s solely for the user’s peace of mind.
