Why does my car not Rev past 3000 rpm?
It will NOT limit an engine to 3000 rpm and it will NOT cause the computer to become confused for any reason. A clogged catalytic converter or clogged exhaust, usually from being bent will limit the engines rpm because it can’t “exhale”.

Hello all techies, my 2003 honda accord cannot exceed 3000rpm, while speeding it would jerk at 3000rpm and will not make the car exceed that mark. When put in Park (P) or neutral (N) and you revv the engine it still wont exceed the 3000rpm.
