Why does my car sound bogged down?

Why does my car sound bogged down?

Your engine either seems to bog down when you hit the gas pedal, or it takes a second or two to respond. An engine that hesitates when accelerating is either sucking too much air, not getting enough fuel, or misfiring.

What to do when your Jeep Liberty makes a noise?

When driving so as to adequately produce the noise have a passenger push outward on the passenger side door/glass usually at the upper front corner. The pitch or sound level will change dramatically if it is the door seal.

Why are the rear rotors on my liberty making a noise?

The first time they replaced the rear rotors as they had corrosion from sitting on the lot (a fairly common problem according to a friend who is a mechanic). However, the noise returned after a few days. I have been told that the noise is a result of the metal pads and rotors used on the Liberty.

What kind of noise does a 2005 Jeep Renegade make?

Our 2005 Liberty Renegade has the usual windsield problems, we are on our third windshield now. About two months after the last replacement, we began hearing a relatively high-pitched whistle coming from the right side of the windshield or passenger door area. It is very hard to localize and sounds a lot like a one-note harmonica.

Why does my Jeep have a pulsing sound?

It also feelsl ike ive been getting less power in higer speeds. The car idles and drives perfectly at slower speeds but on the highway you can really feel the pulses and hear the exact making sounds. The only way to get the pulsing to stop is to give the jeep more gas.

Why does my Jeep WK2 surge while driving?

It mainly did it going up hill or at around 40 mph at 1300 rpms. Just like the WK2 guys with the 3.6 engine. They are experiencing something similar with having to adjust the way they drive due to lack if power and not so good tuning. It’s going to surge/buck regardless what you do because of lack of power and tunning.
