Why are the lights on my can Am Commander not working?
This past weekend I got in and Thursday night for our ride and turned on the machine the let her run a bit and warm up as we would be heading out for a night ride. I cam back out about 15 mins later and the lights were not working. A quick check of the machine and everything seemed fine. BUT I had no lights.
What’s the problem with my Jeep Commander head lights?
For the past month my 06 commander head lights decide to turn on and off when they please. Along with the control panel lights dimming and brightening on their own. Not going over any bumps, does it whenever, no matter if heat, radio etc are on or off.

The rear assist lights come on, the auto high beam/low beam changes on the computer, the air bag light comes on & chimes. If the A/C is on, it goes from face to feet & back up.
Where are the relays on a can Am Commander?
If you open your fuse box there are 3 Relays that are the same about 1/4 inch square. The middle one is the headlight relay its labeled on the fuse box cover BUT mine was is faded completely. Here is a pic of the Relay. Ignore my messed up fingers.

What does the ESP Bas light mean on a Jeep Commander?
The ESP BAS light is letting you know that vital safety equipment in your Commander is not working. Before doing anything else, make sure to cut the wheel all the way right twice, left twice, and then to the center. This can recalibrate the steering system (see video above).
How to reset steering angle sensor in Jeep Commander?
As mentioned above, make sure to turn the steering wheel twice to the right, twice to the left, and finally back to the center. This resets the steering angle sensor in your Commander. If playback doesn’t begin shortly, try restarting your device.
