I used the exact part number that Jeep installed after the recall- metal body and weatherproof. The part number is coded to match the metal body and weatherproof. Note: The product description does not match OMRON G8JN-1C6T-F-R-DC12 100%, but the pictures that were provided do.

IIRC the check valve (s) are part of the fuel pump. The problem I had on my 2018 happens when it is above 90 degrees outside. After I drive in the heat for a while then park it for at least a couple hours then try to start, it will have a long crank and sometimes time itself out and shut down the starter.

Recall completed 4 years ago and issue came back about a year ago. Replaced Crank Shaft sensor ( 10 mins, $30 and extremely easy to do ) and relay (exact from amazon for $10 bucks) , still same issue. Jumped pins 30 and 87 with car off and can hear the fuel pump turn cycle off and on.
Can a jeep WK2 start without a fuel pump?
I did it yesterday; drove from DC to Fair Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and they knocked it out once again with no issue or question. 45 minutes later, and I was able to start my WK2 without extended cracking!! Hope this helps!! The relay they install for the recall isn’t that great. I had to replace mine this summer.
