To activate the Tow harness cost me $165 at the jeep dealership. Just thought i would share, as some people said only $50. Hate this was a different part but you need it so get it.
What do you mean by OEM harness install?
Not sure what you mean by OEM harness install. The OEM harness you would need to install, as I understand it, would require you to disassemble half the vehicle to get to and replace as it runs from the front of the vehicle to the back and contains way more than just the wires for the stop/tail lights.
Where is the tow hitch connector on a Jeep Laredo?
Look up under the drivers side of the rear bumper and a good sized connector should be tie-wrapped right there. I’ve read other threads saying Laredo/Altitute trim levels stopped receiving the pre-wiring in the last couple model years.
