Why does my Jeep think the key is still in the ignition?
It’s like the Jeep thinks the key is still in the ignition. Sometimes it will revert back to normal for a few days, then back to acting retarded.

It’s two possible things (through my experience) one your battery could be needing replaced, then if it only happened once , your alarm could have went off and you didn’t know it, it’s an indication of that. My 2014 Chevy sonic lt beeps when I turn the ignition right and when I remote start it outside.

How do you turn off door chime with key out of ignition?
When I pull up somewhere, I have to stop, turn the key off, open the door so all the locks unlock, shut the door, hit the door lock button on the door (relocking all the doors), then when I reopen the door all the other door locks stay locked. At that point I can manually lock the drivers door and get out.
