Why is my JK Sahara heater blowing cold air?

I have a 2012 JK Sahara with 16K miles, in for trans cooler line recall “N28” (separate issue) and while it was in the shop I told them it was blowing cold air on drivers side. Dealer called back and said they needed to replace the heater core AND radiator and said it is covered under warranty.

I know as a jeep the AC is not its beat feature! Mine blows cold but its no artic blast.. Pull the temp control knob off & make sure the shaft is turning when you go from hot to cold, the knob center may be cracked. If good the blend door actuator may be stuck in the hot position.
