Do you need to adjust the JK steering box?
The JK box is just like any other power gear. Adjusting the steering box is not the issue when you have play in it. The boxes are adjusted just fine from the factory. The issue most of the time is slop in the bearings. Adjusting the box just shoves the sector shaft deeper in and masks the slop in the bearing.

How to adjust the steering box on a Sahara?
Too tight on the stock Sahara rims, couldnt steer for shit. The “right” way to do it is with the wheels off the ground and a tq wrench… the normal way is with wheels off the ground, allen and a 17mm. I used a cressent and didnt have to touch the allen fitting to loosen mine up. still twitchy though, so will work on it today.
