Do I need a drop pitman arm?
There is NO reason to install a dropped pitman arm on a typical lift size, unless you have altered the geometry in some way (i.e. a track bar drop bracket). If you haven’t done any of that, a dropped pitman arm will do more harm than good. Dropped pitman arms are known to cause bump steer.
What size drop pitman arm do I need?
You may not get it perfect or even great, but you can certainly get it closer than it is now. Typically most drop Pitman arms are in the 3″-4″ range. A tie rod flip could certainly help in this case as it will raise the drag link and tie rod quite a bit.

And based on your pics. They look shot. Go with polyurethane. They’LL last longer. Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear.

Where does wondering stearing come from on a CJ5?
No slop in the gearbox, everything North and South of the gearbox seems fine, i honestly can’t figure out where the wondering stearing is coming from. The only thing I can find is the front spring bushings are worn out. Can this make stearing that sloppy? Just my thoughts. But yeah. Bad bushings will throw you all over the road. I’d start there.
