What does eco mode do on Jeep Wrangler?

Eco mode (light on) means it is maximising fuel efficiency, shift points are lower and the transmission tends to be a bit more delayed to throttle input. Turning Eco off, then selecting sport does nothing different, there are 4 modes. Eco, Eco off, Sport, and manual (flappy paddles).

MY PROBLEM IS THAT THE JEEP CRANKS OVER BUT TAkes a long time to start, sometimes i have to press on the gas pedal to get it to start, It is a 91 wrangler with the ho 4 liter haven’t found the problem yet anyone have any idea’s how to fix this ? my thought was cps ???? Still having this problem….
When does the Jeep Wrangler throttle position sensor fail?
It will start to do this when in gear running down the street and it is noticeable to the peddle. When you take your foot off the peddle the idle accelerates to 3000 rpm and you can’t shift…. I replaced the throttle positioning censor twice already, and it still does it.
Why does my Jeep Wrangler not idle down?
When you start it up it revs to 2500 rpms and starts to go higher ,it won’t idle down. Vehicle continues to accelerate for a few seconds after letting off gas pedal. Checked the connection at the throttle and the cable/throttle body is not sticking.
