Why is my rear wiper not working on my Jeep Laredo?
The first time my rear wiper wasn’t working it was caused by a blown fuse. So i replaced it. The wiper than works perfectly for a week. Then suddenly it stopped working again. This time the fuse was not blown. I have no idea what to look for at this point. I am purchasing my lease (2017 Grand Cherokee Limited).
What should I do if my rear wiper is not working?
Probe the voltage supply plug with a voltmeter and make sure voltage and ground are present. Move the wiper function switch through all positions to determine proper voltage at the plug. If there is no voltage, check the voltage supply to the dash switch and check the rear wiper fuse. Remove the wiper switch from the instrument panel.

Where is the intermittent wiper switch on a jeep?
The intermittent wiper switch on the right stalk has gradations for varying the speed. If I turn on the intermittents the wiper blades make one wipe and stop – never to swipe again no matter which speed I select. The only wiper options are normal and fast speed continuous wiping.

The fact that the wiper does one wipe shows that the BCM gets the arm signal from the switch stalk. Now it will be waiting for a signal from the rain sensing module to activate the wipers. The rain sensing module uses fuse 25 on the junction block, but also depends on the accessory delay relay.

Since your wipers donĀ“t go into low speed continuous mode, it seems that the rain sensing module is working, but not sending a wipe command. Check if the infrared sensors from the rain sensing module are clean and no obstacles are in their way (like a sticker or such). They work!

Is there a test light for rear wiper?
No, I meant if you could get to the wires going to the motor in the rear. You could use a test light to see if either side has voltage. Dunno if the test light would allow enough current to intentionally ground the low side lead to see if the motor turns.
