Why is the idle speed on my 2000 Wrangler so high?
My 2000 wrangler is running 3200 rpm at 68-70 mph what would cause this. have the same problem? The usual cause of abnormally high idle speeds are vacuum leaks or an inoperative idle speed control motor. A vacuum leak on a fuel injected engine will cause high idle.

Why does my Jeep WK2 run at 1300 rpm?
I just had to adjust the way I drive it at certain times. It mainly did it going up hill or at around 40 mph at 1300 rpms. Just like the WK2 guys with the 3.6 engine. They are experiencing something similar with having to adjust the way they drive due to lack if power and not so good tuning.

Is it normal to idle at 700 rpm?
