When did my Jeep Cherokee wipers quit working?
I bought my 2016 Jeep Cherokee brand new in February 2016. The wipers quit working during a heavy rain storm in myrtle beach. You turn the switch and they wouldn’t turn on. The next day, they worked. Once again I needed them in another rain storm, and they didn’t work. I live on the coast of nc and it rains often.
Why does my high speed wiper still work?
That the high speed — the least frequently used — selector still works suggests the tension has gone from the low and intermediate speed contacts. If they can be accessed and bent to create more tension this is a temporary fix at best; replace the switch. Having ascertained that the switch is good, test the wiring harness.

What’s the problem with my intermittent wipers working?
My intermittent wipers work. The problem is the black cover from the sensor on the windshield above and behind the rearview mirror has fallen off (not completely). If I hold the cover inplace the wipers work fine. Any advice on how to put the cover back on correctly?
