Years ago 2005 (I think) Dodge on the Durango started including the harness and input under the dash to plug the brake controller in. Very disappointing that years later Jeep still may not be providing this simple input. Electric Brakes are law with trailers over a certain weight (1-3K) in most if not all states.

Lots of folks in the same boat as you …last I heard FCA electronics were working the problem.. there maybe a solution someday but not right now. My guess in 6 months or so.

Yea, the Trailhawks all come with the tow package in general. On a side note my 2011 JGC did not come with a tow hitch or wiring. I was able to get everything I needed from etrailer.com. A Draw-Tite Hitch was $104.00 and fits like a glove.
