I have a cj7 with the factory axles. I am running 33s but may go to 35s. Similar situation to you. Dana 44 are awesome but if you are like me and on a budget I’d look for a set of axles already setup. I got a set with 4.10 gears and a rear locker and better rear axles for $600.
