Are there any problems with the Jeep Cherokee wipers?
See all problems of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee . It started raining yesterday and when the wipers were turned on the drivers side went across like someone bent it ripped it off. We stopped at a gas station to fix it long enough to get to a oreillys and had the blades replaced.

Edit: just had a look at the service manual and the problem can also be with the rain sensing module, which is mounted above the mirror on the windshield. The fact that the wiper does one wipe shows that the BCM gets the arm signal from the switch stalk. Now it will be waiting for a signal from the rain sensing module to activate the wipers.
What’s the problem with my intermittent wipers working?
My intermittent wipers work. The problem is the black cover from the sensor on the windshield above and behind the rearview mirror has fallen off (not completely). If I hold the cover inplace the wipers work fine. Any advice on how to put the cover back on correctly?
