Why are all the lights flickering in my Jeep?
Long story short, the battery was going bad. It was causing some REALLY weird things to happen: dash lights flickering, seat heaters wouldn’t work for 2 to 3 minutes after a start, then the things I described above started happening. Changed the battery 6 months ago, everything disappeared!!!

When do all the warning lights come on in a jeep?

Several lights came on at one time; the “abs”, “brake”, “esp ras”, and the other esp (car skidding) light came on all at one time. I tried disconnecting the battery for a while then hnooking it back up, but it just did the same thing.

What to do when your lights go off in your instrument panel?
The proper response to this problem is to disconnect the wiring harness plug at each of the (4) wheel sensors – check for wire damage (chaffing, bare wire, kinking, etc) – check for dirt and/or corrosion – clean both the plug and contacts – use liberal dielectic grease – and reinstall the plug.

How often do Jeep Grand Cherokee headlights work?
The headlights flicker for a quarter second, and then work fine for a few minutes during night driving. This occurs on average of about once every 4 minutes of driving with the headlights on. According to Jeep forums online, this has been a known safety issue in Grand Cherokees.
