Why does my service electric brake system come on?
So I just swapped out my wheel hub assembly on the drivers side and it’s still doing exactly the same problem, weird grinding sound, service electric brake system, TC and abs lights come on. You’re saying the grinding is the abs kicking in?

Lauredo If it makes you feel better the service electrical brakes comes on and off in my vehicle all.the time. It doesn’t stay on, nor does it throw any codes.

About half the time when I’ve parked my truck in the garage, in the morning when I start my truck the parking e-brake is on without ever pushing the button. For context, I always back my truck very slowly into the garage and of coarse go straight from R to P.

There is a flash for the final drive control module regarding erroneous dtc’s causing the “service 4wd” message, that may be all the problem is with that. As for the grinding when applying the brake, when was the last time the brakes were done?

Today the brake light came on as well with the friendly message of Service Brake System. I’m just trying to get possible ideas as to what could be causing this. No I havent had a chance to get it scanned yet, waiting on a friend.
