When does the lightning bolt warning light come on?
Recently, the lightning bolt warning light came on (Electronic Throttle Control). Sometimes it comes on, sometimes it doesn’t. However, any time that the light does come on, the temperature gauge reads cold and will not move to warm as I drive. If the lightning bolt does not appear, the temperature gauge reads normal. Thoughts?

What happens if lightning bolt flashes while engine is running?
If the light remains lit with the engine running your vehicle will usually be drivable, however, see your dealer for service as soon as possible. Ifthe light is flashing when the engine is running, immediate service is required and you may experience reduced performance, an elevated/rough idle or engine stall and your vehcle may require towing.
