When do you replace the front window regulators on a Jeep Commander?
I dont remember off hand but I will post a tech note that I have about certain build dates that if one window auto reverses then you are to replace both front window regulators and now flash the door modules. Grand Cherokee and Commander vehicles that were built between 2-12-2007 and 10-3-2007.
What are the replacement parts for Jeep Commander?
Module part # 04602922AB (Driver and Passenger Window only Door Control Module) will become part # 04602922AC with the flash. The replacement parts are 04589171AG & 04589170AG for the Grand Cherokee. The replacement parts are 55396480AH & 55396481AH for the Commander.
Can you reset the up / down window on a jeep?
Yes, you can reset it but the problem will keep recurring unless you have the TSB performed. As 5253 pointed out, sooner or later you’ll have to have the TSB performed. On most 08’s, it’ll just be a reflash. A much higher percentage of the 06 and 07 required motor replacement as well.

Can a power window motor go bad on a jeep?
Had that happen with windows on my 99 laredo 4.7 QD. The main control module went bad on drivers side. Power window motor went on passenger door. Main control module was $240 list my chrysler emply. price was 170 which was still pricey. Had a buddy install them every was fine after that.
Is there a problem with the passenger side window switch?
I have noticed a problem with my passenger side window switch. It will roll the window down, but it won’t roll the window back up. I can only roll the window back up using the switch on the driver’s side. In the past, I have taken the trim off of both doors to work on the speakers and apply some Dynamat.

When prying off the door release handle cover on the right side towards the hinged part of the door be sure to pull out on the handle while pulling the panel to the right to avoid breaking any of the brackets on the back. Why does my drivers side window not work?
A smaller version of GM’s rebirth of the Hummer. Hard to start yesterday,drivers side window,power door locks wont work,either by buttons on both doors or on key fob.Other windows work! Replaced Battery checked door lock fuse,still no drivers side window or door locks. Answered! View the answer I have this problem too Is this a good question?
Why is the cowl not connecting to the driver side door?
Of course it is also possible that the wiring harness between the driver side door and cowl is corroded and that some of the pins are to corroded or even broken off and do not make contact. Also check that you have good and tight positive and negative battery cable connection to the battery posts.
