Is there a problem with my Grand Cherokee radio?
Hello, i also have a 2012 Grande Cherokee. My problem is similar, whereas my radio works but no sound from AM/FM. Sirius Radio works but continuously cuts out. Was told it’s a defective radio by dealership. I have a very similar problem with my 2012 Grand Cherokee.

At Six Sigma manufacturing standards (which are rarely met, just strived for), 99.9999999% of the components won’t fail. So… you can all thank me for finding the one in 10 Million that did! Just picked mine up yesteday, Having terrible fm reception.
Is the FM radio reception good in my GC?
FM reception is pretty poor for us. Stations I easily get with my Ford sedan that has the aerial in the rear window are very poor in the GC. Mine was born two days before yours and the reception is just ok. My other car gets quite a few more stations and more are of listenable quality. There has been no change.

Both of my remote openers stopped working after working intermittently. The problem was caused by a cold solder joint where the battery holder is soldered to the P/C board in the remote. Easy fix, if you know how to solder. Disassemble the remote. Remove the P/C board.

For the second time in 1000 miles I started my 2012 Laredo and had no sound from my radio. It is am fm single cd with sirius. Dont have the option code because im at work right now.
