So I called Idatalink and they confirmed using the interface module maestro RR with the CH3 harness will allow aftermarket headunit to be added. All of the climate controls, steering wheel controls would be retained. The performance pages wouldn’t work as there is no way to display this once the unconnected screen is removed.

Don’t care about replacing the stereo etc, juts headunit. So with all the views and no replies I’m going to guess that the only way to get any kind of upgrade is still the process in the other thread about replacing the UConnect with a 2017 one.

So with all the views and no replies I’m going to guess that the only way to get any kind of upgrade is still the process in the other thread about replacing the UConnect with a 2017 one. I think since I’ve got a 2016 there shouldn’t be really any compatibility issues, seems like SRT/Seats/Steering Wheel all come over just fine.
