Is the shifter light on a jeep latitude?
I just bought a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Latitude and my vehicle is currently at the dealer. The light would appear on the dash, then PRND would all turn red (no flashing) on the shifter. I was told that they are doing a update on the car and waiting to find out if the shifter does indeed need to be replaced.
When did the service shifter go on on my 2016 Jeep?
We bought our 2016 JeepCherokee in December 2015. Ever since, we have been getting “ServiceShifter” error messages. Also, all of the indicator lights onthe shifter would go on. I don’t quire remember, but I don’t thinkit would shift then either.

My 2016 Jeep Cherokee started having issues on my way home from work yesterday, the service transmission message popped up on my display and the engine light came on. The service transmission was on for approximately 5 minutes, and during this time it felt like the car wouldn’t accelerate.

All of a sudden “service shifter” with the shifter lights all illuminated red. I’ve had NOTHING but problems with this thing since I bought it. The transmission is spanked. I’m part of a class action law suit for it. But this is just something else that has gone wrong. Havent even owned it for a whole year. Smfh.

If i turn the car off and take the key out the Shifter Service light on my Dash would clear out.
