Why is my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee not working?

Why is my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee not working?

I had just driven the car 40 minutes prior with no problems. The vehicle is a 2015 Grand Cherokee Overland that I picked up on 12/31/2014 and only has 1693 miles on it now. It had to be towed to the shop, and I am still awaiting a reply. The dealership informed me that it still isn’t working for them, so that rules out RF interference.

Tried this fix above (pulling and putting back the F49 fuse) and had no success.

How does a cold reset work on a Jeep Grand Cherokee?

I think its a cold reset of the integrated control system, by pulling the fuse one disconnects it from power, same effect would be done with disconnecting it from the battery and have a cold reset right there. The whole ICS / electronics section of the Jeep seems not very software robust in my opinion. 43 people found this helpful.

Why are the seat heaters not working on my Jeep Grand Cherokee?

In addition, the seat heaters would not come on due to the buttons not working. I pulled the F49 fuse…it was fine…put it back in after a couple of minutes. All of the button controls below the screen now work. The seat heaters work too! Thanks everyone for the advice. 5 people found this helpful.
