Taking out the Backseat Newer models allow you to slide the back seat out of the side door. All you have to do is lift the front end of the backseat and slide it out. Older Jeep Wranglers require you to lift the backseat out of its position and carry it out of the side door.

Can you take control arms off Jeep Wrangler?
You might get one or two that come off and go back on without having to pull the axle one way or the other, but you will certainly have some that will require you to reposition the axle a little to get them to line back up. Best done with jack stands and a jack. Especially if you are changing arm length.
