Why are interior lights on while driving in Wrangler?
Yes, the door switches are inside the door latches. If a door switch gives a momentary door open signal, the BCM will switch on the interior lights and keep them on for a preset time. If this momentary signal is very short, the EVIC will not show a door open, but the BCM will still switch the lights on.

You can just cock the door latch to close the switch and make it think the gate is closed. Take a smallish screwdriver and just simulate what the latch does, i.e. press on the mechanism where the latch would. How do I get interior lights to turn off with?
Blue tooth doesn’t work, USB port doesn’t work and they only provide one (can get bare bottom Kia and they have 4), can’t get door ajar light off, and can’t shut interior light. That’s just off top of my head and it’s much worse.

My Ford Explorer rear interior lights would not turn off when the car was on to play music at the drive in with the hatch open. Push the hatch down so the like hook taps the part in the car so it thinks the hatch is closed then pull it up.
