For a 97-99, you can either have the 15 gallon or 19 gallon. Now, from what I’ve heard, the 15/19 gallon tank are exactly the same, just a vent hose is enlongated to prevent you from putting in more then 15 gallons. There’s the YJ modification. For the guy who said his is a 99 and MUST have it, not necessarily. It may just be a later-98 model.

Customer orders a new Jeep. Gets many upgrades such as air conditioning, nice sound system and even upgraded interior. Then they get to the 20 gallon upgrade option on the order list. Oooo .. gotta have that so I can enjoy driving longer between fill ups.
