Why is my transmission range inhibit warning not working?
Basically the tcm would get hot and develop a fault putting it into limp mode or neutral while driving, let it sit key off for 20-30 min and would be ok till the tcm got warm again, 5-15 min. When hot it wold not show up on the network or talk to DOC.

If you have a twin and the TCM isn’t buried in a pile of crap, I’d switch them and see if the problem follows. When they start to fail they can do some unimaginable stuff. We had a bizarre one last year. 2009 Cummins with all kinds of regen issues, really weird ones. After a lot of trouble, money and cussing, it turns out the TCM was the problem.
