Why does the oil temperature light stay on on my Honda Foreman 450?
I have a 2000 Honda Foreman 450 and the Oil/Temperature light stays on and I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. It is Intermittent but even as soon as you start it, it sometimes goes on so its definately not overheating. If you would have the steps on how to fix it that would be wonderful!!

I have a 98 Foreman S (450 S) had a similar problem. Fan light would come on intermitently, come on constant, flicker etc, even when it was cold. helped some but did not emliminate the problem.

Most of the time it’s the fan control unit that is bad if that is the situation. If the light is on and the fan is running then I would guess a short somewhere. The fan control unit turns the fan on and off plus the oil temp light. I would guess the circuit for the temp light in the unit is messing up.
