My engine makes quite a bit of noise (ticking, some squeaking, etc.) when it is idling. It seems to run fine, but it is quite noisy. In fact, it’s probably the noisiest of any car I’ve owned. It doesn’t sound like it’s going to die, and the idle is pretty even, it just sounds like a cheaply made engine.
