Why does my Jeep Cherokee radio cut out?
The issue is all the stations cut in and out, static, volume up and down. Sometimes I can start the car and radio works fine. Other times I start it and it immediately has an issue. It’s not where I live, or anything to do with general reception in my area. It definitely is an issue with the vehicle. The dealer replaced the radio
What kind of radio does the Jeep Cherokee have?
Chrysler Customer Care says it is the vehicles with Panasonic radios. Vehicle is wired for only this brand radio with problem. Other Cherokees with different radio has no problems…Sopposedly there will be a software upgrade before years end. This has been going on since I bought new in July.

Why does my Jeep Wrangler radio keep cutting out?
Recently it has begun cutting in and out at complete random, doesn’t matter about type of terrain I driving on or speed or type of use for the radio. Itll cut out and turn completely off, turning the Jeep on and off again does not fix the issue and then randomly itll come back again as if there was no issue what so ever.

For the second time in 1000 miles I started my 2012 Laredo and had no sound from my radio. It is am fm single cd with sirius. Dont have the option code because im at work right now. I can turn it on and off and change stations but there is no sound and no response from the steering wheel volume control or the radio knob.
Why is my Sirius Radio not working in my Jeep?
Tried having Sirius re-send the activation signal, no dice. Tried having the dealer re-set the stereo, no dice. Dealer ended up replacing the whole thing under warranty. Its been 2 weeks since I went to the dealer. They said it would take 7-10 working days for my radio to come in.
