Why does my Ford Escape not start up?
He thought it might be the fuel system but he performed a Fuel service to the car last week and it still continues to cut off when I run the car for a while in warm weather. I did experience intermittent starting problems last summer but it was maybe only a couple of times, so I didn’t pay it much attention.

It won’t budge. Holding the brake pedal down, turning the key to the ON position, will not allow me to bring it out of Park. When I let the e-brake down, the truck advanced at least a foot, and would have kept going; considering it is in Park, the truck should have stopped. Perhaps this points to a busted shift cable?
