This is a small panel above the gas tank, and you will see the sending unit on top of the gas tank. Cut two equal lengths of wire. One should be long enough to reach the back of the fuel gauge, and the other to the nearest ground connection. What kind of wiring do I need for a fuel pump?
Fuel pump wiring for the RED circuit is generally going to carry a much higher current than the relay. So use a larger gauge wire for lower voltage drop. For big pumps try 12 gauge, for smaller smaller 14 gauge.
