What happens when you pull the throttle on a bike?
It seems as soon as I pull the throttle the engine dies.. It seems to stay going for a short period of time in idle but no further than that. I feel that its as soon as you try chucking pet through it dies..
Can a car run with the choke fully off?
Yes the engine is supposed to run with the choke fully off (or open). If you have an n.t. carb, the choke will be a simple, old style plate that opens and closes at the inlet of the carb.
What causes engine to stall with choke fully off?
Screw it out, the slide closes and allows less air AND fuel to get sucked into the engine which will make the rpms go down. this has nothing to do with the choke. My bike was doing the same thing, and I rode it that way for about 4 months. Then it sat for a while, and the fuel went bad.

Why does your motorcycle only run on choke?
Fuel goes bad after time, and the first circuit/jet to clog with varnished up fuel is the pilot jet. This circuit delivers fuel for idle, and has the smallest passages found in carburetors.
What to do if your engine dies when you open the throttle?
If its a 2 stroke then spark plugs are expendable items, change it even if its a 4 stroke. If it doesn’t sort the problem then at least it wont do any harm! Failing that then it sounds like you either have an air leak or a fuel problem. First things first, start the engine up then spray copious amounts of WD40 around the inlet manifold.
