What are Meprolight sights made of?
Tritium is used on these night sights, and optics are supplied by MB-Microtec in Bern, Switzerland. These are the same tritium tubes used by various night sight manufacturers so they all perform identically as there is a legal limit on the amount of tritium that can be contained in the glass cylinders.
Does Meprolight replace tritium?
Can the tritium in my sight or optic be replaced or recharged? The tritium in night sights, Mepro FT Bullseyes, or in the Mepro M21 or Mepro MOR cannot be replaced or recharged. The sight or optic will still work just fine in lit conditions, but will not illuminate in low or no light conditions.

Are Meprolight sights good?
Meprolight makes good quality night sights. The pair I purchased for my Glock 21 installed very easily and illuminated brightly in dark conditions. The only issue I have with them is the front sight is substantially taller than the original factory sight. So much so, that the gun would no longer fit into it’s holster.
