Is the Yamaha Grizzly 700 CVT primary clutch bad?
Please try again later. Almost 5000kms. on the Yamaha Grizzly 700, so we figured we better clean up the front primary clutch. It really wasn’t that bad but got it done anyways. Also changed the belt while we were in there but the original showed hardly any wear. It did have some small cracking going on between the cogs though.

You have to dig into the wet clutch with that kit, so the folks running one of those can give you some better advice on how things should look in there… I called EPI and SHE said that the bearing in the wet clutch is in backwards or went bad. that is what causes this to happen.
