Is the Polaris fusion a good snowmobile?
The Fusion you have is obviously a good one and well massaged – that’s great – however only about 5-15% of buyers will go to the trouble you did to get the sled performing. Polaris suffered so badly from Fusion reliability and poor performance issues they threw out the 750 engine tooling.

Are there any problems with the Polaris fusion 900?
Some guys opted to change out/update the cranks if vibration was a big factor, and they (Polaris) beefed up the PTO end so it could take a bit more pounding. Lots of guys had problems with vibration, and some figgered it out, and the ones running the 900’s nowadays really love them.

Here are a few models that are more prone to snowmobile stator failure (click on the model name for the correct stator): Since most Polaris snowmobiles use the same Voltage Regulator-Rectifier, and they fail quite often, RM Stator highly recommends using an efficient and high power handling MOSFET Voltage Regulator-Rectifier on these models.
Why is my Polaris RMK snowmobile having problems?
That one side might be flooding out, which washes oil off the cylinder walls and lowers compression. Try putting some injection oil down the spark plug hole and pull it over a few times then repeat the compression test. If it stays low, there is an engine problem. If it goes up to 120 like the other one, then I think that side has a fuel issue.

What are the problems with my Polaris snowmobile?
The wires are a known problem on the Fuse’s because of the vibrations. The copper wire tends to break inside the insulation. Start there and get back with us. Also the clutch problem is more than likely either a broken clutch spring as stated earlier, or the other option is that the center clutch hub has mushroomed from over torquing.
