How much does it cost to replace Honda struts?
If you have a Japanese built Honda, the struts are less expensive than the US built struts. Go figure. You can just replace the boot, Majestic lists them as dust covers. 6.23 each.
What to do with cracked front struts on Honda CRV?
Having one heck of a time removing the nut off the top, but once that is done I’ll transfer the spring and other components with the new covers to the new strut. Had I know it would have been this much of a pain to get off, I would have elected to go with the complete assembly for the front as well.
