How do you use the emergency key on a Jaguar?
Insert the emergency key blade into the slot in the door lock cover. Carefully lift the key blade to lever the cover off the retaining clips. Insert the key blade into the exposed lock to operate. To lock: Make sure that all of the doors are closed, then turn the key blade towards the front of the vehicle and release.
Is the remote locking on a Jaguar XF working?

The key is clearly talking to the car because after selecting “lock” on the key fob there is two bleeps which confirms that the alarm has activated but the bleeps indicates that a door might be open. You can hear a locking sound at the fuel filler door but none of the doors actually lock and the mirrors do not fold back.
Is there a central locking malfunction on a Jaguar?
When you sit in the car and try and lock the car using the dash buttons – Nothing.. We have checked all the fuses and they are ok.. I’m reluctant to have any thing to do with going to a jag dealership as i’ve been poorly treated in the past (i will bore you on another post later on that one)
Is there a hidden menu on Jaguar XF club?
No change. i carried out the procedure to reset the windows as described on page 157 and i tried holding down the lock/un-lock button within 5 secs of switching on ignition… is there a hidden menu on these models? theres one on the older models, i wondered if there is a reset within that.. if there is one?

How do you stop central locking on a Jaguar?
I stopped the alarm by pushing the unlock button on the key fob and turned off the radio. I then sat in the car and reset the parking brake, the window up/down travel and adjusted the clock. The car then started fist time without any warning notices on the dash/screen.
Why is my door lock not working on my Jaguar?
Essentially the door lock modules need a security re-learn which doesn’t show as a fault on SSD as it isn’t an error as such but more an absence of data. They used Autologic and it was an easy fix to get it working again; apparently it has some better workarounds compared to the Jaguar SSD software.
