How do you reset tailgate on Subaru Outback?
Pressing the tailgate button or key does nothing and I have to close the tailgate to reset it again. I’ve read the threads talking about button sequences to reset the lock, or actually manually closing the tailgate lock and then reopening it, to cycle/reset it.

I end up having to go to the back and shutting the tailgate to reset it and then pressing the button on the tailgate, or the key fob, and it will then raise all the way. I’ve also had instances where I press the key fob when I’m coming to the car and the tailgate beeps three times and then barely pops open.
