How do I get security access for my Saab?
In order to retrieve security access, access to a computer with TIS 2000 installed is required. Disconnect Tech2 from the car and connect it to the TIS 2000 PC via an R232 cable. Restart Tech2 and wait for the start screen. Afterwards, start TIS 2000 and select Security Access (Enable Programming).
What is global tis?
Global TIS is the newer version of TIS 2000. One replaced the other. Get Global TIS working and use that. Forget about TIS2000. Note that TIS2000 is used with Tech 2 clone while Global TIS is working with GM MDI interface.

Click on the WIN95, then the BMW folder, then the TIS folder; double click the SETUP icon at the bottom of the list and install the Sysadm, After the installation the icon it represents on your desktop should be a BLUE ICON WITH THE LETTERS “ADM” on it, NOT a BMW logo.
