How can I become a professor in IIT?
EXPERIENCE Professor: A minimum of 10 years teaching/research/industrial/professional experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such Indian or foreign institutions of comparable standards.
Is it worth joining IIT Jammu?
I would recommend joining this college as it has good placements. Placements: About 70-80% of the students get placed every year. About 70% of the students have completed their internships from top companies like Ericsson, ABB, TCS research, etc. Infrastructure: Infrastructure in IIT Jammu is excellent.
