It looks just like the regular peanut tank from the side but it’s about one inch wider so it holds another gallon. 3.2 gallon I believe. Even with the built stroker motor I can go 100 miles without thinking where the next gas station is. Keep thr sporty for around town fun, get a touring bike for the road trips.

You can easily swap a 4.5 gallon tank over from another sporty, the XL883C/XL1200C and XL883L/XL1200T both came with the 4.5 gallon tank, the only fitment concerns -may- be seat neck, as far as I know. Does HD sell those tank at parts shops? Any idea on the typical price ?

Ok was looking and did not find anything larger than the stock 4.5 gallon tank. Are there larger tanks avail? I am looking for something that would put me into the 150 mile per tank range. That way when I ride with the baggers and cruisers I can stop with them for fill ups instead of me having them stop for me to fill up.
