How are you guys like the Softail Deluxe?
I am writing to find out how you Guys like the Softails. I am looking at a 08 Deluxe Anniversary Model at the local dealer and I will try to work a deal on it.
Is the Softail Deluxe a good street bike?
As for the ride of the Softails, I love it. The NT was my first street bike and totally blew me away with the responsivness to in-put from the rider. When out in Cali, I went for a couple rides on my brothers other Road King (he has two) and while I enjoyed being able to ride, I never really got comfortable on it.
Which is better a sporty or a Softail?
Boooya!!! Killer bike. I got a friend who just made his softail into a bagger. thought he was crazy but he pulled it off. I just bought a 2009 Softail Custom. I rode a Sporty for years. So far, so good. It certainly feels better than my Sporty did. It sounds as if you really like the Deluxe, and that is what counts most.

Why does my Speedo not work on my Harley?
Speedo works when it wants but only at highway speeds and again randomly. Now blinkers are starting too work intermittently. Any ideas? Don’t believe both switches would go at same time, Short maybe or relay. Not sure and I would appreciate any ideas. Might be a failing Harley speed sensor. Remove the sensor and see if it needs to be cleaned.
