Well I took the lid off, generally pushed cables to make sure they were on properly and cleaned the heads etc with a cotton bud and it works sometimes now I have to put the tape in up to half a dozen times for it to engage and then it plays fine, so it’s still usable….. but not if you are in a hurry !
