Can a rtoo 14613 transmission be Rebild?
Many years ago I had an RTOO14613 built to replace a 14609. I was very long legged. It had some advantages, but it was a little noisy. Years later I had a good mechanic go through it and put a bearing kits in it just because. 58000 miles later a bearing went down and trashed 19 gears total. was going to cost a fortune to rebild it.
What’s the difference between RTLO 15 and 13 transmission?
I went with a RTLO16718 and lost some topend but overall it was a good upgrade. That 16718 is a helluva lot tougher transmission. The RTLO went in with no driveshaft changes other than maybe a yolk. The 15 speed and the RTLO 13 speed are both 33.1 inches long according to the specs on roadranger.com so it should be an easy swap.
Is the rtoo 14613 a double overdrive or triple overdrive?
An RTOO is actually a triple overdrive. I know everybody calls it a double overdrive. I didn’t believe the man when he told me that until he showed me some old Eaton Roadranger literature showing the ratios. Many years ago I had an RTOO14613 built to replace a 14609.
What’s the average speed of a rtoo 14613?
By my calculations with the RTOO 14613 at 1500 RPM you would be running 86 mph. Yea which would be cool but like u said the noise would be a factor. With the Rtlo 16713 I would be at 74 mph @ 1500. Not so bad right?

Is the valve on the Hi-Lo splitter bad?
The Hi-Lo splitter has an air operated valve there that could be bad, so you may have to replace that first and try. I don’t think that valve is very expensive.
