It would be an aftermarket alarm. Mazda doesn’t offer it as a dealer add-on. Not sure I agree with you there unless you know for sure. Only reason being, obviously, according the manual it IS possible to get a Mazda Alarm without Tech Package (since they give non-Tech package instructions for it’s operation).
