Trouble getting gears atarted a year ago, changed the damper, it worked for six months, then problem returned. Check the clutch pedal you will find a U shaped bracket at the very top which makes contact with the pedal.

Could be a problem with the slave or master cylinder but as I said Mr Clutch took the job on and should have tested and blead etc when fitting the clutch. There is a known issue with these cars’ clutches (and the Hyundai i30’s) where the bite progressively sinks to the floor.
