Why is my ATV stuck in reverse?
Try rocking the atv back and forth while pushing back on the rod or try hitting the bracket back with a hammer while rocking the atv. It might come out of gear without rocking back and forth. You can remove the air box and side panel to gain better access.

Hi: You can also put a socket or a box end wrench on gear shift spindle to try shifting the gears. Where you see spindle in the dia. below that is where you put the wrench, socket or vise grips to try shift the bike. It’s on the lower left hand front of the motor.
